Taxi drivers in Johnstown have been left counting the cost after a spate of vandalism during the early hours of Sunday 22 December. CCTV captured a group of youths in the area at around 1.50am, reportedly involved in acts of criminal damage and anti-social behaviour.

Among the incidents, several taxis were targeted, their windows smashed, causing disruption for drivers and the wider community. The damage has not only led to repair costs for vehicle owners but also raised concerns about public safety in the area.

North Wales Police are urging anyone with information about those involved to come forward. A spokesperson added: “If you have any information about those involved, please contact the police on 101, quoting reference Q191748. Or email PCSO Alison Heron on alison.heron@northwales.police.uk. Let’s come together to address this and keep Johnstown safe.”
