Uber Business Black: A new option arrives for corporate travel on the Uber app
Uber has unveiled a new service tailored for corporate travellers seeking enhanced comfort and flexibility. The introduction of Uber Business Black aims to meet the growing demand for premium travel experiences in the corporate world.
Building on the success of their Business Comfort service, Uber is offering a new premium ride option that merges the sophistication of traditional black car services with the ease of Uber’s app-based convenience. Whether it’s pre-booking through Uber Reserve or requesting an on-demand black car, business travellers now have greater control over their schedules.
The demand for premium services has seen significant growth. Uber for Business reports a 90% rise in Business Comfort trips globally. The company also notes that more than half of all business travellers now opt for premium services like Business Comfort, Comfort Electric, Black, or Reserve. This shift is largely driven by the need for more comfort and reliability during work travel.
Uber Business Black features a range of benefits, including newer luxury vehicles such as the Mercedes G-Class, professional drivers meeting local livery standards, and 24/7 customer support exclusive to riders. Importantly, Uber is ensuring on-time pick-up protection for pre-booked rides and additional flexibility for those unexpected last-minute changes.
Expensing has also been simplified, with automated receipt deliveries and expense management integration, reducing the burden on corporate travellers after their trips.
