The must watch YouTubing taxi driver was back again this month with what he claims to be a taxi driver GAME CHANGER.

The device reviewed in the latest Tom the Taxi Driver video is nifty looking black box that looks nothing more than a heavy duty lunch box from first impressions. However, delve deeper and look in side to find the handy size box is in fact a mobile plug in stove!

The RoadPro Stove, which is available to buy for around £50-60 can be used to heat most kinds of pre-cooked food.

Tom demonstrates how healthy home cooked food can now be fully heated up in the cab simply by plugging in the stove into a 12 amp charging point.

Taxi drivers working long shifts have always struggled to access hot healthy food without having to pay high prices whilst out and about. A simple hot meal and drink can cost cabbies roughly £10 per day. For a full-time driver that one meal a day can amount to over £2,000 per year!

One reviewer of Tom’s video also commented: “The height of the stove is so that you can fit two of the metal trays inside… one savoury dish, one dessert.

“Nice bit of crumble or warm apple pie with lunch.”

Tom’s YouTube channel has been a hit with viewers ever since it first launched in March 2020. More than 25,000 people have subscribed to the YouTUbe channel. The London black cab driver and qualified taxi guide completed the ‘Knowledge of London’ in 2017 after 3 years of studying.

Tom has also published a book about his time on the Knowledge, and recently progressed to Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers.
