Tensions rise as private hire scuffle footage caught on busy London street

Tensions were raised as a scuffle involving a London private hire vehicle broke out on the streets of the capital.

In footage captured and posted on social media, it shows two men fighting in a queue of traffic on on Primrose Street near Liverpool Street Station.

One of the men is alleged to have exited the Silver Volkswagen minicab. The driver’s door of the private hire vehicle is open and no driver is present throughout the pushing and grappling against the car.

Workers in high visibility jackets attempted to separate the men before the 23-second clip ends with one of the men disappearing behind the minicab.

The vehicle involved displayed the distinctive Transport for London private hire signage in the windscreen of the car. It is unknown whether the vehicle had passengers in and for what operator the vehicle was working under.

Marvin Houston took to social media to share the altercation.
