Taxi driver with 10 points on licence caught speeding at 92mph with passengers onboard in Burnley
A taxi driver has been caught speeding at 92mph on the M65 by Lancashire's Road Policing Team.
The unnamed man, who astonishingly had already accumulated 10 points on his licence, was pulled over after exiting the motorway into Burnley.
To add insult to injury, not only was the weather bad, the taxi had two paying passengers onboard, prompting officers to label his actions as 'disgraceful'.
Lancashire's Road Policing Team (@LancsRoadPolice) used their official Twitter account to highlight the incident, saying: "This taxi was stopped in Burnley having been followed doing 92mph on the M65 in the rain. Disgracefully he had two fares in the back and to make things worse he already has 10 points for speeding offences.
"Lesson clearly not learned so reported for summons."
