Taxi driver charged with drink driving after public tip-off in Hampshire

A taxi driver from Alton has been charged with drink driving following reports from the public.
Robert Lenox, 64, was arrested after police received information that he had been driving while intoxicated. Officers stopped his vehicle on Thursday 6 March, and he failed a roadside breathalyser test.
Lenox was subsequently charged with drink driving and is due to appear at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 20 March.
