Sherbet London hosts Camden event to welcome Knowledge students and new driver hub cafe

Sherbet London is inviting Knowledge students to its Camden Driver Hub on Parkhurst Road for an open-day event on 3 April.
The free event will run from 3pm to 8pm and offers a hands-on experience for those working towards becoming London taxi drivers.
The day will feature activities including TXE vehicle inductions, accessibility and customer service training, and a live Knowledge class. Attendees will also be able to test drive cabs and speak directly with experienced Sherbet drivers.
The open day also marks Sherbet’s first anniversary at its Camden base and the official opening of its new driver café. Those arriving early will take part in the cake-cutting celebration.
Sherbet CEO Asher Moses, a licensed Green Badge holder, said the company aims to support students making the transition from study to the road. Moses said: "Over the years, we have helped thousands of Knowledge students transition into working taxi drivers. We host these events regularly and will continue to do so. With no longer a requirement for a driving or wheelchair test pre-badge, these sessions provide invaluable support in helping students make the move from studying to working as taxi drivers.
"With the declining number of students taking on the Knowledge, we hope these open days offer encouragement. They provide students with an opportunity to drive a taxi, interact with experienced drivers, and feel closer to achieving their goal. Plus, there will be drinks, snacks, and plenty of Sherbet!"
