Sheffield taxi jump leaves man seriously hurt after driver allegedly threatens passengers



Police are appealing for information after two men reportedly jumped from a moving taxi on Trippet Lane in Sheffield late last year.


The incident occurred at 11.32pm on 28 December 2024. According to reports, the pair exited the vehicle after the driver allegedly began making threats.

One of the men suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.


South Yorkshire Police are now seeking any witnesses or anyone with relevant information to assist with their enquiries.

Those who were in the area at the time or have dashcam footage are asked to contact police via their online portal or by calling 101. The investigation reference is 14/228725/24.
