Rider and 2 passengers of rickshaw seriously injured after collision with a car in Edinburgh
A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a serious road crash between a rickshaw and a car on the West Approach Road, Edinburgh. He is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday, 3 May, 2021.
The incident happened around 10.35pm on Saturday, 1 May, and involved a car and a rickshaw which was carrying two paying passengers.
Three people, the rider and passengers of the rickshaw, were taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh with serious injuries. Enquiries are continuing to establish the full circumstances.
