Private hire giants Veezu sponsors Pride Park Pumas football team
Veezu, one of the UK’s largest private hire taxi technology operators, has announced its sponsorship of the Pride Park Pumas football team in Derby. This new partnership will provide the team with brand-new kits for the 2024-25 season in the Derbyshire Girls & Ladies (DGLL) Mini Soccer League.
The Pride Park Pumas are a recent addition to the well-established Pride Park Football Club, which has been active for over two decades. The club is known for its commitment to grassroots football, offering young players opportunities to get involved in the sport and develop their skills.
Veezu’s branding will be featured on the team’s new kit throughout the DGLL Mini Soccer League season. The aim of the sponsorship is to enhance the team’s growth and bring more recognition to girls’ football in the area.
The new kits have already been in use since the season’s start in July 2024, and Pride Park Football Club has encouraged local residents to come out and support the team as they compete in the league.
This initiative is part of the Funded by Veezu programme, which supports local projects across the UK, aiming to create a positive impact on communities.
