Police share CCTV images after man throws ‘rock’ through a parked taxi and steals cash

Devon and Cornwall Police have released images of a man they are keen to speak to in relation to an alleged theft from a taxi.


The incident occurred on Devonshire Street, Plymouth on Wednesday 9 August around 1.40am, when an individual threw a rock through the window of an unoccupied taxi.

According to the police spokesperson, the suspect leaned through the shattered window and stole cash from the car before making a swift getaway.


Authorities have reason to believe that the man in the pictures could hold vital information to assist with their ongoing investigation.

The police are urging anyone who may have any information regarding the incident or might be able to identify the individual depicted in the released images to come forward.
