Police seek to identify third suspect after woman helping taxi driver was assaulted in Nottingham

Nottinghamshire Police have released an image of a person they wish to trace in connection with an assault on a young woman in Nottingham.
The victim was attacked by three females on Trent Street after filming them being abusive towards a taxi driver. Officers reviewing the footage have identified two suspects, but a third individual remains unknown.
Despite an extensive investigation into the incident, which took place on 17 October 2024, police have been unable to confirm the identity of the final suspect. They are now appealing for the public’s help.
PC Joe Blake, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a nasty assault and it was pure luck the victim was not more seriously injured.
“Footage shows her being hit and pulled to the ground by her hair, before her head was repeatedly stamped on.
“We will not tolerate this sort of behaviour in Nottingham and it is really important we speak to the person in this image as part of our investigation, as we believe she can assist us with our inquiries.
“Do you know who she is? If so please give us a call on 101 quoting crime reference 24*621456. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
