Police investigating an assault in Harrow have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.
The assault occurred at approximately 01:00hrs on 7 March 2020 outside Harrow-on-the-Hill Underground Station when an unknown man got into the same minicab as the victim, a 34-year-old man.
The victim asked the man to get out as the unknown man had not booked the private hire vehicle. The man then punched the victim a number of times before leaving the scene prior to police arrival.
The victim was taken to hospital where it was confirmed he had sustained a number of facial fractures and broken ribs.
PC Kim Burn, leading the investigation, said: “This is a good quality image so I’m sure someone will know who this man is. I would encourage anyone who thinks they know who this is to get in touch with us.
“If you wish to remain anonymous you can call Crimestoppers who are independent of the police and will not collect any personal data about you. It is important we identify who he is so we can speak to him about what he knows about this assault.”
If you recognise the man in the image call police on 101 and quote CAD 537/7MAR20. Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
