Police Scotland search for man who attacked taxi driver after rank refusal

Police Scotland are investigating an attack on a Dundee taxi driver.
According to local media source, The Courier, it is understood the man spat at the 63-year-old cabbie after being refused access into the vehicle.
Police officers attended the incident on Panmure Street, near the McManus art gallery, on Friday morning. Officers are now searching for the man believed to be in his 20s after allegedly throwing multiple punches and kicks towards drivers on the taxi rank.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers received a report of a 63-year-old man having been assaulted on Panmure Street in Dundee around 9.35am on Friday.
“Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
