Police pull over taxi in Ireland to find woman operating under a man’s licence
Police pulled over a taxi driver in Ireland to complete a licensing check, only to find that the driver did not match the one on the cab licence.
The police were not only astonished to find the driver didn’t match the licence, the person impersonating the male licence holder, was a woman.
Highlighting the incident on their official Twitter account, Garda Police said: “The Garda Commercial Vehicle Unit stopped this taxi, where it transpired that the taxi licence did not match the woman driving the car, as it was for a man!
”The car was seized. Proceedings to follow.”
