Greater Manchester Police shared details of a taxi found parking on restricted zig zag road markings to the tune of the Spice Girls.

Officers shared an image of the black Citroen Dispatch taxi on Friday 24 February.

Zigzag lines are located near pedestrian crossings and are meant to provide a clear view for both drivers and pedestrians.

Parking on zigzag lines can block the view and create a dangerous situation for pedestrians crossing the road. It is considered a serious offence and can result in a fine and penalty points on your driving licence.

A Greater Manchester Police Traffic spokesperson said via social media: “I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want.

“So tell me what you want, what you really, really want.

“I wanna, I wanna, I wanna, I wanna

“I really, really, really wanna summons from GMP for parking on a zigazig ah.”
