Police CCTV appeal to help identify man as part of rape investigation

West Mercia Police have released a CCTV image as part of their ongoing investigation into a rape that occurred in Malvern last week. The incident took place in Priory Park at around 3am on Sunday 4 August.


Officers are keen to identify a man captured in the footage, believing he may hold crucial information related to the case.

The individual was last seen leaving the Old Con Club between 2.30am and 3am, heading past the cemetery, along Church Street, and into Priory Park. He is described as having curly hair, standing approximately 5ft 8ins tall, and of average build.


Detectives are also appealing to a taxi driver who assisted the victim after the attack. The driver is considered a key witness and is not suspected of involvement.
