Nissan has launched the Townstar Crew Van, a versatile and comfortable light commercial vehicle tailored for businesses of all sizes. Building on the foundation of the successful Townstar L2, this new model offers enhanced space and adaptability, making it an ideal choice for those needing a bit more from their commercial vans.

Designed to handle both small and substantial loads with ease, the Townstar Crew Van is a testament to Nissan's commitment to providing practical mobility solutions. This new addition complements Nissan's existing line-up, which includes the all-new Interstar for the H-van segment and the established Primastar in the mid-sized category.

One of the standout features of the Townstar Crew Van is its remarkable flexibility. Businesses can effortlessly adjust the van's configuration to suit their varying needs. The second-row seats can be quickly folded up or down with one hand, allowing the van to transform into a secure five-seater in seconds. This setup ensures passengers have a comfortable ride, complete with individual three-point seatbelts, head restraints, and hinged windows for ventilation.

When extra space is required, folding the second-row seats enhances the loading capacity by 1m³, providing a total of 3.1m³ of space. The van also boasts one of the widest opening doors in its category at 831mm, facilitating easy access to the interior. The Townstar Crew Van's payload capacity of up to 730kg and towing capability of 1,500kg with a braked trailer further highlight its robust utility.

In line with Nissan's move towards electrification, the Townstar Crew Van is also available in a fully electric version. With a 45kWh battery, the electric model offers a range of up to 162 miles (WLTP combined) and multiple charging options, including a rapid-charging 80kW option that charges the battery from 15% to 80% in just 37 minutes. The electric variant maintains the same spaciousness and performance as its petrol counterpart, making it an attractive option for eco-conscious businesses.

The Townstar Crew Van is packed with modern technology, including Intelligent Speed Assistance, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Keeping Assistance, Blind Spot Detection, and wireless CarPlay or Android Auto. Additional features like a rear camera, front, side, and rear parking sensors, and Intelligent Emergency Braking System provide extra safety and ease of use.

Furthermore, the van offers seamless connectivity with the NissanConnect app, which allows drivers to access real-time traffic updates, monitor battery status, and remotely control the ventilation system.

Available from £26,125, the Townstar Crew Van also comes with a comprehensive 5-year or 100,000-mile warranty, along with an 8-year warranty for the EV battery, ensuring reliable performance and peace of mind for every journey.

For businesses, that includes possibly taxi drivers, seeking a reliable, adaptable, and future-ready vehicle, the all-new Townstar Crew Van stands out as a smart and forward-thinking choice.
