Merseyside minicab driver hit with driving ban after plying for hire outside Anfield Stadium

A private hire driver illegally plying for hire outside Liverpool’s Anfield Stadium has been disqualified from driving for six months.


The Sefton licensed private hire driver pleaded guilty after being caught by Liverpool City Council’s enforcement team.

At yesterday's trial, the minicab driver was handed 8 penalty points to his licence which disqualified him from driving for six months under the totting up procedure.


The Sefton private hire driver was also hit with fines and costs totalling £330.
