Marshall Volvo have added London EV Company (LEVC) retail franchises under their wing, with a new facility in Nottingham.
With more than 3,000 sales to date, the electric TX is popular with drivers in the UK as well as increasing global success with a major focus in Europe, in markets such as Germany, Norway and the Netherlands.
Powered by the renowned eCity technology, the TX is cleaning up cities around the world and, since its introduction, has already saved around 10,000 tonnes of CO2 from entering the atmosphere and preventing the consumption of 5.5m litres of fossil fuel.
Marshall Volvo on Valley Road have taken charge of Nottingham’s unique Taxi Trial scheme.
Hackney taxi drivers are provided the chance to explore one of three LEVC TX taxi purchased by the council to find out how it works and how you can fit it into your taxi business. The trial lasting 30 days at a time is free to any Nottingham hackney taxi driver.
Under the council’s Taxi Strategy, all hackney cabs licensed from 2020 must be at least Euro 6 emissions standard, and from 2025 only Ultra Low Emission Vehicles (ULEVs) will be registered.
