Man pulled from back of taxi and robbed of belongings in Kettering

Northamptonshire Police have issued an appeal to the public in relation to a robbery that occurred in Kettering's Horsemarket.


The incident took place between midnight and 1am Saturday 8 June. A victim was pulled from the back of a taxi, assaulted, and robbed of his mobile phone. The perpetrator then fled towards Market Street.

Given the time of the incident, officers believe the area was likely busy and are calling for any witnesses to come forward. They have also released an image of a man they wish to speak to, as he may have crucial details that could help their investigation.


Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 24000335594. Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously via Crimestoppers at 0800 555 111.
