Man ‘acting suspiciously’ getting into taxi charged with drug offences in Wirral
Merseyside Police officers from Project Medusa have arrested and charged a man in Wirral for drug offences.
On 8 October, police on patrol in Tranmere noticed a man acting suspiciously as he entered a taxi on New Chester Road. The officers stopped the vehicle on Church Terrace and searched the passenger, discovering 70 wraps believed to contain controlled drugs.
Alan Croft, 50, has been charged with possession of heroin and cocaine with intent to supply. Croft appeared in court yesterday on 9 October, and has been remanded into custody.
