MAGICAL TOUR RETURNS: Children’s Magical Taxi Tour to Disneyland Paris set to return in 2022
The Magical Taxi Tour to Disneyland Paris will return next year after a two year break due to the coronavirus pandemic.
One of London's most unique charity events takes place each year when a convoy of licensed London taxis takes over 200 children, suffering from a range of chronic debilitating illnesses and life limiting conditions, on a three-day trip of a lifetime to Disney® Paris.
Whilst the 2021 trip has been cancelled, the next tour has now been scheduled to take place over the weekend of 16-18 September 2022.
Since it began in 1994, the Magical Taxi Tour has taken more than 5,000 children to Disneyland Resort Paris® with some taxi drivers having taken part every year.
The last tour in September 2019 saw a convoy of over 120 black cabs waved off at Canary Wharf, making their way to Paris taking sick children on a trip of a lifetime.
The 3-day trip to Paris is put together by the Worshipful Company of Hackney Carriage Drivers and is only possible due to the generosity of drivers and sponsors.
