Kent Police patrol car collides with London private hire vehicle in Dartford



A road in Dartford was shut after a collision involving a police car and a London licensed minicab yesterday.


A damaged blue Vauxhall car displaying Transport for London (TfL) private hire signage in its windscreen was pictured at the junction of East Hill and Home Gardens, along with a heavily damaged Kent Police patrol vehicle.

The crash is reported to have happened at around 1pm on Sunday 29 March. It is believed that no one was injured as a result of the incident.


The picture, taken at approximately 2.30pm and posted on Kent 999s, shows the damage sustained by both vehicles.

The Kent Police car had clearly had serious impact at the front, whilst the minicab shows the airbag deployed and damage to the driver-side wing and front wheel.
