Images released of man accused of bilking Bournemouth taxi driver

Officers have issued CCTV images of the suspect as they investigate a taxi bilking incident in Bournemouth.


The victim picked up a man in their taxi on the evening of Thursday 25 June in Springbourne and took them to the Hamworthy area before then driving them to Tower Road, arriving at around 10.20pm.

At that point the man made off from the vehicle without paying the £62 fare.


Police Community Support Investigator Steph Garner, of Bournemouth police, said: “We have been making enquiries in relation to this offence and have obtained CCTV images of the suspect.

“I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to please come forward.”
