HASTINGS DAY OUT: London cabbies get set for trip to the seaside helping children with special needs
For over 30 years, the Friends of The Albany Taxi Charity have been making a huge impact on the lives of children with special needs and those facing life-changing illnesses.
On Monday 12 June, another cohort of children and carers will be heading down to Hastings in a convoy of around 50 London cabs.
The charity, which is supported by local businesses and groups, organises the trip every year and it's a special day for all involved. The children get to experience a fun-filled day out at the seaside town and enjoy many of the local attractions.
Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and attractions, the children will have access to Flamingo Park, Blue Reef Aquarium, RNLI, and the Ship Wreck Museum, among others. Later in the afternoon, they will head to Azure for a fish and chip supper and some entertainment provided by Uncle Bumble.
Throughout the day, the convoy of black cabs will be driving through town. It's an exciting time for the children and they deserve all the support and kindness that Hastings locals can offer.
