Edgbaston taxi driver attacked punched and robbed of phone while sitting in cab 

West Midlands Police have launched an appeal to trace two people after a taxi driver was robbed.


The force have released CCTV stills of the two individuals they want to speak to in connection with the attack on the taxi driver who was grabbed round the throat, punched and then robbed of his phone as he sat in his vehicle in Hagley Road, Edgbaston, around 5.40pm on Thursday 9 January.

Anyone who may know either of the people pictured are urged to get in touch with the police, quoting crime number 20BW/7763Z/20, via Live chat at www.west-midlands.police.uk 8am - midnight, or by calling 101 anytime.
