Derbyshire Police are seeking three men after a taxi driver was threatened during a journey from Alfreton to Ripley last month.

The incident occurred on Wednesday 11 September at around 9.20pm.

The three men, accompanied by a dog, entered a taxi at the Tesco store on Hall Street, Alfreton. According to the driver, the men threatened to stab him if he refused to drive them to Ripley.

The driver complied, transporting the men and the dog to their destination in Ripley before they exited the vehicle.

Police are asking to speak with the three men, who were present in the area at the time, and believe they may assist in ongoing enquiries.
