Dramatic footage has been shared across social media showing the moment a large tree was uprooted by Storm Ciara, causing it to fall into the road narrowly missing a London black taxi and a coach.
The video, shared by @MailRkik, shows the taxi travelling along Buckingham Palace Road, Victoria.
As the driver approaches a set of traffic lights, a large tree on the right can be seen toppling over and slamming down inches behind the vehicle.
A coach travelling in the opposite direction was unable to brake in time and can be seen driving into the fallen tree which is spread across the road.
Unbelievably, no pedestrians were passing at the exact moment the tree falls victim to high winds.
Emergency services arrived at the scene and the road was closed while recovery teams cleared the road.
No injuries have been reported.
