Concerns raised for woman & baby last seen entering a Toyota Prius minicab in East London

The Metropolitan Police service have released images of a woman they are trying to trace after concerns over her and her baby’s well-being have been raised.

Police are appealing for any information anyone may have on the 19-year-old and her eight-week-old baby, after they were last seen entering a white Toyota Prius minicab in Hainault, heading towards Ilford, East London.

Andreea Caldararu was seen entering the minicab on 16 June. CCTV footage shows that Andreea was assisted by others and it is suspected she has remained in the Ilford and Barking area.

Andreea is described of slim build with long, wavy dark brown hair and has the appearance of a female in her mid-twenties.

Police say she is known to have connections to the Romanian community in Ilford, Barking and Dagenham.

Police said she left in sudden and unusual circumstances, and they have raised concerns for the baby’s well-being and would like to see her safely returned as soon as possible.

It must be noted that the police force have not linked the minicab driver to any wrong-doing.
