'Cloned vehicle' with private hire signage seized by South Wales Police
A car which appears to have private hire vehicle signage has been seized by South Wales Police after roadside checks revealed it was a cloned vehicle.
Officers from South Wales Police Roads Policing Unit highlighted the incident on their official Twitter account @SWP_Roads, saying: "Officers from Team 4 Roads Policing Unit West had cause to stop this vehicle following an ANPR marker.
"Checks revealed it was a cloned vehicle. Vehicle seized and enquiries ongoing."
It has not been confirmed if the vehicle was being used illegally as an active private hire vehicle or if it was using the signage as a cover-up for criminal activities.
