Cambridge taxi fire sparks morning chaos
A taxi caught fire on St Andrew's Street in central Cambridge, leading to significant disruption on Thursday morning.
The incident, which occurred around 8.45am, saw flames engulfing the vehicle's bonnet, prompting firefighters to swiftly respond and extinguish the blaze.
Buses were diverted, causing delays for morning commuters. The fire was confirmed as accidental, with emergency crews clearing the scene by 9.30am.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and services returned to normal shortly after.
