Beware the Budget Parking Camera: Motorists warned off buying knock-off car cameras

Motorists are being cautioned about the perils of purchasing cheap imitation parking cameras from budget websites.

Experts at AbsoluteReg.co.uk warn that acquiring car technology and accessories from unreliable sources could create problems for drivers.

Parking cameras, while useful for rear visibility, should not be solely relied upon. Over-reliance on these devices can result in accidents, particularly if the camera's perspective is inaccurate.

Many counterfeit cameras available on budget sites are notorious for providing misleading perspectives and incorrect distance perceptions. This flaw often causes drivers to park too far from or too close to other vehicles and obstacles, increasing the risk of collisions.
