Appeal for taxi driver witnesses after man dragged into nearby car in Corby

Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident on George Street, Corby. The event occurred near the taxi rank at approximately 10pm on Tuesday 23 July.

Reports indicate that a male was involved in a verbal altercation with two others before a third male arrived in a vehicle.

The initial male was then reportedly dragged into the vehicle by the other three individuals. The circumstances surrounding this incident remain unclear.

A 24-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

The police are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or has information about the victim’s identity to come forward.
