A number of Taxi & PHV licences removed immediately after defects found by DVSA Enforcement

A number of taxis and private hire vehicles were found to be operating with vehicle defects during a day of enforcement by the Driving Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA), in conjunction with Buckinghamshire Council and Thames Valley Roads Policing team.


A number of safety issues were found during the roadside checks, including a defective brake hose.

The DVSA highlighted the finds via their official Twitter account, saying: "Driving customers away with these finds?


"Recent op in High Wycombe, alongside Thames Valley Roads Policing Team & Buckinghamshire Council.

"Our team found several taxis with defects, including a defective brake hose.


"3 taxis were issued with prohibition notices & had their taxi licences removed by the council."
