Over 300 more Uber employees bite the dust in latest round of job cuts
Uber Technologies Inc has laid off around 350 more of its staff in the company's latest round of job cuts, in an attempt to reduce financial loses.
According to Bloomberg, the cuts have been made in a number of different divisions including self-driving car development and food delivery.
The announcement comes just months after two previous rounds of dismissals within the firm following a underwhelming IPO launch.
In July and September the tech giants laid off more than 800 employees, making the total over the three rounds, well over a thousand. The ride-hailing company announced loses of more than $5 billion in the second quarter of 2019.
