Alleged Uber driver's steering wheel comes away from steering column mid-journey

An alleged Uber driver has suffered the embarrassment of their steering wheel coming away from its steering column.

The passenger in the vehicle took to Twitter after filming the incident, saying: "My Uber driver's steering wheel has just come off."

He then followed up his initial tweet by saying: "She got no tip, no stars, no nun, we jump df out. F*** the money i almost died that day, U can let me right out here mam."

Uber support responded "Hello @_shawndagoat. This safety issue was bought to our attention. We take safety seriously and would like more details regarding this trip. Please send us your phone number via DM and informatiin about your trip."

It is unclear as to where the incident took place.
