LEVC is proud to display the TX electric cab at the London Concourse event

The London Electric Vehicle Company (LEVC) once again proudly presented its electric black cab at the London Concourse, at the Honourable Artillery Company Headquarters on 5-6 June.

A luxurious automotive garden party hosted right in the heart of the City of London, this automobile extravaganza saw 80 of the world’s most precious cars gather in the historic Artillery Company gardens.

Since launching the world’s most advanced taxi early on in 2017, LEVC has sold several thousand electric vehicles into London and across every major city in the UK, with sales in Germany, Norway and the Netherlands too. LEVC operates as part of the ‘new energy commercial vehicle’ group within GEELY, China’s largest privately owned automotive technology group, which has invested over £500m into the organisation since 2014, allowing for the first ever purpose-built electric taxi to be designed, engineered and built in Britain. The GEELY Group was a proud sponsor of the London Concours’ Owners’ Enclosure and sitting alongside the electric taxi at the entrance to this VIP area was one of the newest cars from Lotus. On the surface, the Evora GT410 Sport could not be more different to the electric TX, but the two vehicles do share some similar DNA. Both make use of a bonded aluminium chassis to ensure maximum weight savings. Unlike the Evora GT410 Sport, TX is not built for the track, but what both brands do represent equally is British design and automotive excellence, celebrated at one of London’s most prestigious automotive events.
