Taxi driver assaulted and robbed after fare dispute as police appeal for witnesses in Milton Keynes

A taxi driver was robbed after an alleged dispute over payment for a fare in Milton Keynes, prompting Thames Valley Police to appeal for witnesses and anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage.
The incident happened between 7.50pm and 8pm on Boycott Avenue, Oldbrook, on Sunday evening. According to police, the victim, a man in his thirties, reported that after a disagreement over payment for a journey, one of four passengers assaulted him while another stole a bag containing cash from inside the taxi. Police said the driver was not injured.
Investigators said the four suspects are described as black males believed to be in their mid-teens to early twenties. One member of the group was carrying a crutch, which officers said was being passed between them. Police have also released clothing descriptions for each of the four suspects as they seek to identify those involved.
Thames Valley Police are asking anyone who was in the area at the time, or who has CCTV, doorbell camera, dashcam or mobile phone footage that may assist the investigation, to come forward.
